Dr Nicole McGuinness



 Who is Nicole when she’s not being a vet?

Outside of work Nicole enjoys anything outdoors. You’ll find her most weekends out on her boat or relaxing at the beach. She is also a big AFL fan and has an obsession with old cats! She collects every old cat needing a new home! Nicole also loves family time and being with her son James.


In 2004, Nicole graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology. In 2009, she graduated from the University of Queensland again, with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

Special Interests

Nicole has a special interest and passion for feline medicine (she loves everything cat!). She’s a magnificent GP vet, dedicating her time equally between medicine and surgery. Due to her additional degree majoring in MicroBiology, she is often called upon for her opinion with ear and skin cases.

Dr Tamara Beasley



Who is Tamara when she’s not being a vet?

Outside of work Tamara enjoys travelling. Her favourite experience was working with elephants in Changmai in Thailand. Tamara also loves heading out on the boat on weekends fishing and is obsessed with Dachshunds.


Tamara graduated with honours from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

Special Interests

Dr Tamara is a GP vet which means she is interested in all things general practice. She also has a special interest in canine reproduction.

Robyn Oberhofer

Vet Nurse


 Who is Robyn when she’s not being a vet nurse?

When Robyn’s not working she’s driving her daughter to and from dance classes and performances (Dance Mom!). She enjoys spending time with her family including Roxy the Labradoodle, Jasper the Maltese X Shih Tzu & Jiminy Cricket the cat. To relax she enjoys getting lost in a good book or movie or binge watching shows on Netflix!


Robyn has a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing & has been nursing for 20yrs. Yikes!

Special Interests

Robyn enjoys all aspects of working in a veterinary clinic from reception to surgical nursing but has a soft spot for looking after the cats who are staying in the luxury boarding facility.

Ivy Prior

Trainee Vet Nurse

Who is Ivy when she is not being a trainee vet nurse?

Ivy is a huge animal lover who lives on a farm with an array of rescue animals including two cows, a llama, horses and birds! She also has a Jack Russell named Jeffrey, a Yorkshire Terrier named Arthur, a Welsh Mountain Pony named Albert, and a Galah named Lucky.

When Ivy isn’t at work she is out keeping busy with her animals taking plenty of photos outdoors.


Ivy has volunteered at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary monitoring wildlife and helping visitors understand our Australian nature and wildlife behaviours and habitats.

Ivy has also completed an online education course on Animal Grooming as well as completed her Certificate III in Animal Studies. She is currently undertaking a traineeship in Veterinary Nursing.

Special interests

Ivy loves all animals and enjoys educating others on quality animal care. She has a passion for surgical nursing and loves giving hospital patients comfort and care during their stay.
